Access Network Design Specialist Professional

1. Provide technical design solutions for Access network services for dimensioning in line with the business requirements.
2. Develop low-level design (in cooperation with respective Engineering) covering coverage and capacity objectives validation, traffic models, propagation model, dimensioning of interfaces, etc.
3. Evaluate the existing design and develop optimised design solutions for concerned network based on service/capacity requests.
4. Integrate the progressive agenda into the delivery schedule of Network implementation (network release and project schedules and associated budgets).
5. Evaluate the complaints / requests & detailed capacity or coverage studies from network optimization for site/ coverage expansion, and provide design specification to meet the expansion requests.
6. Support the forecasting of long- and short-term Access Network requirements, link budget in accordance with technology roadmap and expansion demand.
7. Cooperate with and support the NW Operation team to achieve most efficient operation.
8. Recognize and support the technical design efforts for upgrade to new NW solutions in terms of SW and new features.
9. Work with vendors/consultants/contractors in network solution innovation and give technical assistance to other departments as regards the network plan and design to ensure adherence to quality parameters and standards.
10. Submit periodic reports on current status of Access network design with the view to improve the Architecture Planning progressive agenda with respect to network technology
11. Assist and participate in RFQs/RFPs committees’ activities to ensure offers meet Mobily’s needs in the sphere of Network.
12. Perform other duties as required by higher levels of supervision.
